Passport Validity
Many countries require at least 6 months validity on passports from the date of return to Australia. Check requirements for each destination and transit country, as additional documentation such as visas or machine-readable passports may also be required.
Visas
Visa requirements vary depending on nationality and destination. An e-visa or paper visa may be needed, and processing can sometimes take several weeks. Be sure to check requirements for every country planned for visit, including any transit stops, and allow plenty of time to apply.
